What is Plants vs. Zombies?

Although tower-defense games are nothing new, Plants vs. Zombies puts its own stamp on the game by a perfect blend of addictive gameplay, comedy, and the distinct look of the game.

Even the zombies have their own style. Normal zombies just have plain clothes, but later levels feature zombies with pole vaults, screen doors, and buckets on their heads. Each additional detail to the zombies adds an effect like the ability to take more damage or only be affected by one type of flower attack.
